TR-1: 200 MVA, 13.8 kV/230 kV, X=0.1 pu TR-2: 200 MVA, 15.0 kV/230 kV, X=0.1 pu
All lines 230kV, line resistance is 0.08 ohm/km and line reactance is 0.5 ohm/km.
Line lengths are Line-1=15 km, Line-2=50 km, Line-3=50 km, Line-4=15 km, Line-5=40 km
System Base Quantities
SBASE=200 MVA (three phase) and VBASE=230.0 kV in the zone of Line-2
Generator, transformer, line data information and one-line diagram of seven bus system are given above. There are two steps in the project.
Step-1. Calculate the bus admittance matrix for the given system.
Step-2. Find the power flow solution with Newton Raphson method for the given system by using MATPOWER simulation package. MATPOWER can be downloaded from the following link.
Your report should cover step-1 and step-2. In terms of step-2, your report must cover your input data file that is used for MATPOWER and the power flow results. If you use any calculations during the preparation of the input data file, you must include them in your report as well. You are required to provide both an electronic copy and a hard copy of your report and your input data file.
