Research Question: Does beauty perception on tv celebrities affect in a bad way teen girls’ mental and physical health?
INTRODUCTION:
Background:With the rapid settlement of the media in our lives in recent years, in cases it brought has been part of our lives. These phenomenons affect especially adolescent girls since they entered our lives.
BODY:
Argument one: Depression
Excellent perception of beauty imposed on young girls, causing them to be dissatisfied with their bodies. This state of dissatisfaction can lead to disorders such as depression while also make unhappy them.
Subpoint: Lack of self esteem
Argument two: Eating disorders
Thin idealized tv models make young girls push to lose weight although it can bring hazardous problems such as blumia.
Counter-argument:
Paying more attention to self care and appearance by envying tv celebrities.
Argument three: Too much working out
Making working out to an obsession
CONCLUSION:
These are the effects that play a huge role in young girls’ mental and physical health. Harm on girls can be diminished by considering these factors of tv’ beauty perception.
